Questions we get before people book
Fees, warranty, arrival windows and what to have ready on the day. If the answer you need isn't here, email us and we'll add it.
Repairs and bookings
What happens if you can't work out what's wrong?
We look at the call-out fee case by case and it may be reduced or waived — the Terms set out how that works. If we do find the fault and the machine turns out to be beyond economical repair, the diagnostic fee still applies: the diagnosis was the job, and knowing not to spend money on a repair is worth having.
Do I get charged twice if a part has to be ordered?
No. If a part needs ordering we book a return visit to fit it, and there is no second call-out fee. You pay for the part and the labour to finish the job, nothing else.
How long is the warranty?
12 months on parts we supply and fit, and 3 months on workmanship. If the same fault comes back within 7 days of the repair, we return with no call-out fee.
Can you give me an exact arrival time?
We book a two hour arrival window rather than a fixed time, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, so the day's route holds together and everyone gets seen when they were told. A 9–11am window means the technician arrives somewhere in that window. If you ring before 10:30am, same-day may be possible.
What do you need ready when the technician arrives?
Safe, clear access to the appliance, plus working power, water and drainage so the machine can actually be tested. Built-in dishwashers and washing machines often need pulling out of a cabinet — we will talk you through that on site before anything moves.
Do you work on anything other than washing machines and dishwashers?
We service washing machines and dishwashers. If you need a fridge or an oven looked at we would rather tell you now than waste your call-out.
How far do you travel?
Melbourne metro and a good spread of the surrounding suburbs. Check yours in the suburb search and it will tell you straight away — and if you are just outside it, send it through and we will let you know.
How do I pay?
Residential bookings are cash or card on the day — Visa, Mastercard, Amex or debit. Real estate agents and property managers booking on behalf of a managed property can be invoiced instead; we just need the agency name and ABN against the booking.
The dishwasher clean
How is this different from what a bond cleaner does?
A bond clean wipes the exterior and the visible interior. We strip the filter basket and fine filter out, clear the spray arms, treat the door seal for mould and descale the tub — the parts an outgoing inspection actually flags.
What do I get for the exit condition report?
A before-and-after photo set covering the filter, seal, spray arms and tub, plus a written summary of what was done. It goes to whoever booked the job, so it can be attached straight to the file.
What if the dishwasher is faulty rather than dirty?
We will tell you on the day. Some machines are past a clean and need a repair or a replacement recommendation instead — you get that in writing rather than a clean that was never going to pass.
Can you work around the vacate date?
That is the point of the service. Tell us the inspection date when you book and we will fit the job before it rather than around our own week.
Property managers
Can you invoice the agency rather than the tenant?
Yes. Invoicing is available to verified real estate agents and property managers booking on behalf of a managed property — we record the agency name and ABN against the booking and issue a tax invoice.
Do you deal with the tenant directly for access?
If you would like us to, yes. Give us the tenant's contact details with the booking and we will arrange the arrival window with them, then report back to you.
What happens if the tenant is not home?
We will contact you before leaving the property. A no-access visit does attract a fee, so it is worth confirming access with the tenant before the window rather than after.
Book a repair
Tell us the appliance and the suburb. We'll come back with the next available window, usually within one business day.
