The end of lease dishwasher clean bond cleaners skip
Standard end-of-lease cleans wipe the door and move on. Agents are flagging food residue in filter baskets, mould through door seals and limescale at final inspection — and it comes out of the bond.
- Filter basket and fine filter stripped and cleaned
- Door seal treated for mould through the fold
- Spray arms cleared, tub descaled
- Before-and-after photo condition report
Why a bond clean misses it
A bond cleaner cleans surfaces. The parts an outgoing inspection actually flags — the fine filter under the basket, the fold of the door seal, the spray arm jets, the sump — come apart with tools and go back together in a particular order. It is a technical job, not a cleaning job, and most bond cleaning contracts explicitly exclude it.
That gap is where bond disputes start. A tenant pays for a full clean, the dishwasher gets marked at inspection anyway, and nobody has evidence either way.
What the service covers
Filter basket strip-down
Coarse basket, fine filter and sump removed, cleared and refitted. This is the part that gets flagged.
Door seal mould treatment
The seal fold opened and treated. Where mould has gone through the rubber, we say so in the report rather than pretending a clean fixed it.
Spray arm clear
Both arms off, jets cleared, refitted and checked for free rotation.
Descale and sanitise
Limescale off the tub and heating element, then a sanitising cycle.
Photo condition report
Before-and-after photographs of the filter, seal, arms and tub, plus a written summary — sent to whoever booked the job so it can go straight on the file.
An honest verdict
If the machine is faulty rather than dirty, you get that in writing on the day instead of a clean that was never going to pass.
Before and after

Four steps, no surprises
- 01
Tell us what's wrong
Appliance, suburb, and what it's actually doing. Model number and error code too, if you can reach them.
- 02
Get a window and a call-out fee
We quote the call-out fee for your suburb and confirm a two hour arrival window that fits the day's route, rather than an all-day wait. Ring before 10:30am and same-day may be possible.
- 03
We attend and attempt the repair
The technician works the fault on site within the booked time. Most jobs are finished on that visit.
- 04
Repair or replace — your call
If a part is needed we talk you through it and give you a quote, and you decide whether to repair it or put the money toward a new one. If you go ahead we order an original part and come back to fit it — labour and part only, no second call-out fee. Covered for three months either way.
Questions we get asked
How is this different from what a bond cleaner does?
A bond clean wipes the exterior and the visible interior. We strip the filter basket and fine filter out, clear the spray arms, treat the door seal for mould and descale the tub — the parts an outgoing inspection actually flags.
What do I get for the exit condition report?
A before-and-after photo set covering the filter, seal, spray arms and tub, plus a written summary of what was done. It goes to whoever booked the job, so it can be attached straight to the file.
What if the dishwasher is faulty rather than dirty?
We will tell you on the day. Some machines are past a clean and need a repair or a replacement recommendation instead — you get that in writing rather than a clean that was never going to pass.
Can you work around the vacate date?
That is the point of the service. Tell us the inspection date when you book and we will fit the job before it rather than around our own week.
Book a repair
Tell us the appliance and the suburb. We'll come back with the next available window, usually within one business day.
